As we begin 2015 I'm starting to see my dreams become a reality. I've become stronger and more confident, and this year really unveils a new me. I'm so grateful that those steps in August and September have led me to where I am today.

As a consultant Jamberry encourages you to complete Jamberry University. The great thing is that the training doesn't end there. In the first three months as a consultant there are regular calls you can join for additional training, support and motivation. In addition the "Jamberry Now" call is available to all consultants for additional training. And since we all work our own hours, Jamberry makes these calls and videos easy to access at any time of the day or night.

In October I had the great pleasure to attend one of Jamberry's regional conferences. I found a couple of other consultants to carpool with, and we found a team of folks ready and excited to meet us. When we arrived we finally got to put faces to all those Facebook profiles on our Jamberry groups. We got to see some great marketing ideas that other consultants used, and we got training on hosting, coaching and growing our business. We also had the opportunity to get grab bags of nail wraps that were great for samples, but didn't quite meet the quality requirements for sales. This meant for a fraction of the cost of wraps we were able to stock our business with a variety of samples, and wraps for our own manicures, as well as gifts to those we wanted to honor. Jamberry executives were happy to share their strategies for success and eager to meet those of us just beginning our businesses.

The conference also gave me the insight as to what was REALLY possible for me financially with Jamberry. Before joining Jamberry we were a one income family while I stayed home with my son. Now I still stay home with my son, and I have the daily opportunity to earn income for all those extras that come with having a kid, and all those extras that come with life. There were several consultants at the conference that earned more income with Jamberry than my husband makes. I'm not there yet, but know that this was a real, tangible possibility left me with a desire to work my business not just for me, but for my family. That desire continues today as I work toward earning that vacation to Hawaii. Every Friday when I get that commission payment I'm able to see the fruit of my labor. And on the 10th I get my bonus pay, and every dollar goes toward realizing all our goals and dreams as a family.

Checking In

It's been almost 5 months since I started my Jamberry Journey, and I have to say, I love what I've been given with this company! I've been working regularly, admittedly sometimes harder than others. I've met some great people, in the business and through my business. Because of Jamberry I was able to pay my son's school tuition in November. I have been able to make donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Operation Blue Santa, and the Juvenile  Diabetes Research Foundation. This has been an amazing experience. 

One thing I'm especially grateful for is the ability Jamberry has given me to step outside my comfort zone and learn new skills. I've learned technical skills, like how to crate and edit my own videos. I've learned soft skills, such as building better business relationships. And I've also learned that I have more potential than I ever gave myself credit for before. 

A fantastic perk of working as a Jamberry Independent Consultant is the opportunity to earn an incentive trip each year. Those who earned the trip last year are headed to Mexico soon. This year I have the chance to earn a trip to Hawaii! This is on top of the great commissions, the business building resources, and the amazing team support from all the home office staff. I've made it my goal to earn that trip to Hawaii, and I'm looking forward to doing it for my family, but also doing it for me. 

When I joined Jamberry I made the personal decision to commit to this for one year. I have grown more in the last 5 months than I thought I could in my first year. I still have a lot to learn - and a log way to go- but I'm so grateful I didn't wait another day to begin.

Jamberry Nails - Giving Back

I've been a big proponent of giving back since I started volunteering as a child. Today I give back through my interactions with different performance organizations, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and local animal rescue groups. Jamberry Nails helps me give back, starting with my very first commission payment.

In August 50% of my profits went to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Jamberry also allows you to host a party, and instead of receiving hostess rewards you can raise funds for your favorite charity or organization. In addition, Jamberry has an Autism Awareness wrap.

They even released a Juniors version of the wrap.

A portion of each purchase goes to the Autism Society of America.

I'm a big fan of companies that encourage community activism, and Jamberry Nails not only encourages this, but paves the way in making it both desirable and easy to give back!

Sparkles!

Jamberry has some fabulous sparkle wraps available this fall. But in addition to the products, I love how Jamberry helps consultants find their own sparkle. As a consultant I've received the support of my family and friends, but also the support of a wonderful Team Manager. All consultants receive a weekly newsletter, but my Jamberry Nails Team Manager goes out of her way to share her own story, share tips for getting my business going, and overall is an encouraging, uplifting influence. 

Although I'm still working on getting everything off the ground for my own business, I'm happy to be part of a team that clearly recognizes hard work, while encouraging both teamwork and healthy competition. I'm finding my own sparkle as I work on my organization and planning, as well as learn new marketing skills. When it comes to my Jamberry experience thus far, I like it, I love it, and I'll continue to shine on!
